New Year’s Day walk in Cobbs Creek

I'll be starting 2024 off by inviting Walk Around Philadelphia participants (& anyone else who'd like to walk with us!) to join my pals from the Cobbs Creek WeWalkPHL group for a ~2hr walk through Cobbs Creek Park and up towards the Haddington Woods.
Joining us will be Ken Johnston of Walk to Freedom – it'll be a great opportunity to learn about his walking work as well.
Meet at 11am at the Southwest corner of South 61st Street & Cobbs Creek Parkway (diagonally across from Anderson Elementary School).
Our plan, *which is subject to change*, is to walk south to Baltimore Ave, and take the wooded trail north from there. We'll emerge from the woods somewhere further up and continue along 63rd St past Market into the Haddington Woods. We're aiming for ~3.5 miles, ~2hrs or so.

(The Cobbs Creek WeWalkPHL group meets there on Monday afternoons even in the winter off-season, so you can also join them on any other Monday…)
