Feb 2nd is the 172nd anniversary of the signing of the Act of Consolidation of 1854 through which the City of Philadelphia merged with Philadelphia County to take on its current shape.
JJ Tiziou has walked the entire perimeter of Philadelphia SIXTEEN TIMES and will be embarking on his 17th complete circumnavigation of the city Feb 7 – Mar 2 while also facilitating the experience for anyone who'd like to join.
He'll hop on Zoom to share about the project and answer questions about the experience. These virtual sessions are a great opportunity to learn about Walk Around Philadelphia and the city or plan you're route if you're setting out to do it on your own.
Much like our walks, this virtual experience will be informed by the participants' priorities, but may include:
