During a walk segment around the airport this February, a trail angel graced us along our path with slices of this incredible lemon cream cheese pound cake and freshly brewed coffee. This sweet treat tasted oh-so-incredible after being out in the elements, walking for multiple hours. Couldn’t recommend this recipe enough!!

P.S. We’re always looking for more trail angels! It’s a very gratifying role that involves intercepting a group along their work & nourishing them with snacks and beverages. Trail angels — a concept common on the Appalachian and Pacific Crest trails — are known for providing trail magic, an act of generosity when a hiker is not expecting it. And we say, why not bring some trail magic to the perimeter of Philadelphia!
