This segment covers roughly 10 miles and includes wooded trails and sidewalk, with potential for off-road bushwhacking adventures.

Join us via Zoom for a chance to connect to the city's edge from the comfort of your own home. May is National Walking Month, and this is an opportunity to connect to Walk Around Philadelphia, learn about the city's border & get all of your questions about the Walk answered.

Spring Picnic + walk the city’s edge: Heinz Wildlife Refuge

Join us for a spring picnic and/or exploration of the Heinz Wildlife Refuge, where we'll walk a segment of the city border and scope out the place where the Circuit Trails folks are planning an eventual trail connection that might facilitate the way for future Walk Around Philadelphia perimeter-walkers. OPTIONAL BYO PICNIC LUNCH BEFOREHAND!
