Exhibits & Events
You don’t have to walk the full perimeter to be part of Walk Around Philadelphia.
Throughout the year we host exhibitions, talks, printmaking workshops, pop-up programs, and gatherings that explore the stories, landscapes, and questions that arise from walking the city’s edge. These are open invitations to connect, learn, and imagine — whether or not you’ve stepped onto the border yet.
Current Installations
Walk Around Philadelphia currently maintains ongoing installations on both levels of Cherry Street Pier, sharing images and stories from the Walk and inviting more people to explore the city’s margins with curiosity and care.
(We start by inviting you to find your way upstairs at Cherry Street Pier – our seasoned edge-explorers will have no problem finding the upstairs studios and exhibition spaces, but many folks completely miss them!)
Hosting Exhibitions & Programs
We partner with community spaces, cultural venues, schools, libraries, parks, and edge-adjacent organizations to share:
- photography & story exhibitions
- talks & conversations
- map printmaking workshops
- community listening & reflection spaces
If your space connects to the city’s edge — geographically or thematically — we’d love to explore possibilities together.
