The Heinz/Airport transition

If you were wondering why we’re only offering a counter-clockwise group from the Airport on Sept 26th, and don’t have a group heading in the opposite direction like we do for most other segments of the Walk this time around that’s because it’s pretty tricky getting between the Heinz Wildlife Refuge & the Airport, at least until our friends at the East Coast Greenway figure out a new trail option down there.
But, there’s a couple ways to attempt it, some of which might include particularly roundabout detours that lead to new discoveries. If you’d be interested in giving that route a go sometime, drop a line here!
